Cantrell Bucciarelli Director
My name is Cantrell Bucciarelli, I am the Director here at our school! I have been at Our Children’s House since 2015. I started as a part time employee then moved into a full time position when I graduated from UNC-Greensboro with my Bachelors Degree in Human Development and Family Studies with a concentration in Early Care and Education. I am from Greensboro, and married with two children who are our entire world! Early Childhood education is my passion, I love seeing the children learn and grow through play, exploration, art, and social interactions! Our Children’s House is my home away from home I love the community that we have here and cherish seeing that reflect onto our families past and present!
Joy Landers Lead Older Preschool Teacher/Assistant Director
I joined OCH when I was pregnant in 1997 as a part time employee. When my daughter was older, I came back in 2002 and became a full time lead teacher. Since then I have been the 1 year old teacher, 3 year old and 4 year old leads, as well as the assistant director for a few years. I love photography and all animals and have always had a passion for early childhood development. I love OCH because of the closeness of the families and staff and the community that has been built over the last 30 years.
Olevia Summerlin Lead Younger Preschool Teacher
My name is Olevia Summerlin. I have been part of the Our Children’s House community since I was a child and enrolled in Walker Avenue Children’s House (which is the center that preceded Our Children’s House). I worked at Walt Disney World in Orlando, Florida through the college program at UNC-Greensboro and that is where I found my love for working with children. I started at OCH in 2010 as an afternoon staff and substitute teacher. Eventually I became a Lead Teacher, and then Co-Director starting in 2024. I have loved every moment of being a part of the OCH family and I look forward to many more years in the classroom and this community!
