CO-OP Experience

OCH families understand the importance of community in raising our children. We believe that teachers and parents share an equal role in creating a positive and enriching atmosphere. There are many ways that parents can participate in OCH activities. Contact us to learn more about our co-op.

The Learning Environment

OCH maintains a Five Star Rated License with the NC Division of Child Development. OCH accepts and implements the criteria for quality programs set forth by the National Association for the Education of Young Children.

OCH offers a developmentally-appropriate program, implemented with attention to children’s differing needs, interests, and abilities.

Tuition and Fees

Tuition is due on the first day of each month. A late fee of $20 will be added to any account that is not paid by the 7th of the month. When the 7th falls on a Saturday or Sunday then tuition will be due by 6 pm on the following Monday. If an account is not paid by the 15th of the month, your child may be dropped from the program. If there are extenuating circumstances payment arrangements must be made in advance with the director. Arrangements for a payment plan for any given month must be made before the first day of that month. A child may be readmitted to the program by the payment of all outstanding fees, provided that space has not been filled.

Enrollment

OCH strives to maintain a multi-cultural enrollment and to accommodate children with special needs. The director is responsible for enrollment and for seeking to maintain diversity in an appropriate learning environment. Contact us to learn about our current openings.
